It was a windy October night when I arrived to the wooden steps outside my house. I quickly got distracted, and something caught my eye. I looked up at the sky. What awaited for me was a huge circle of light. It was glowing and looked as if it could shine a thousand spotlights. That night I stood there, upon the restive door that was telling me to go inside and sleep. My eyes wanted to keep on staring, gazing at the beautiful thing that magically turns day into night. I saw my older brother’s curious eyes as he walked toward me. Somehow, I knew what he was thinking. I know that it was unusual to witness someone staring into space, but I reminded him. When you have attained a memory so inspiring and beautiful, like the waves crashing onto the shore or the bright stars in the darkened sky, you must never let that moment go.
